We've been awfully busy. I know there are some people who can't be here, so I thought I'd let you all know that Mr Snape and Mr Kingsley arrived here safely.

Now that the Polyjuice's worn off, Mr Kingsley's helping with Apparation, and Mr Snape's gone to Grimmauld to make more blood-replenishing potion, but they're both safe, and got the machine out of Mysteries without being caught. They had to split it up into pieces and shrink it down, which took a while.

It's starting to get rather crowded here, even though we cleared a lot of space earlier in the day. There's been one splinch so far, but Madame P is working on it, and I hope they will be all right. I've been passing out tea and bottles of milk and blankets and things, and some of the women want to ask loads of questions, like who we are, where they're going, what'll happen to their babies, and others want to hold hands with someone and cry a bit, and there are a few who are very quiet and don't want to talk or be touched really at all. I think it helps greatly that they know each other, and can take comfort from one another.

Anyways, I need to get back to it.

Yes.

They've been trying to be very careful, but I guess sometimes things like this happen, which is why it isn't safe to Apparate while you're pregnant.

Well, the splinch patient has been stabilised. For the moment. But I'm afraid the baby's coming early, perhaps tonight. The poor dear is nearly full term though, at least, so that's a blessing.

They're all wearing these horrid iron bracelets, which they're reluctant to let anyone touch. I wonder if it's safe to remove them, but I'd like someone with more knowledge/experience with objects like these to look at them and make a determination.

If he does wake up and wants to know later where I was I'll tell him I went out to meet my boyfriend. Which might make him angry but won't make him SUSPICIOUS if you know what I mean.

If you can send someone to get me, that is. Or -- you know what he is actually BACK ON THE FLOO NETWORK (we were NEVER on floo, because of Mum), I could even FLOO to you. Or somewhere near. Straight to you is risky.

Sir, some Calming Draughts would be useful.

Sally-Anne managed to sort out how to get the bracelets off, but I think part of the compulsion was not to cry too much, or to keep calm and sedated, because the people who've had them removed aren't doing very well.
