Something happened as we were leaving the train today. Fintan McLaggen -- he's the third-year -- called me a rather nasty name while we were getting queued up for the carriages, and bumped into Artie hard enough to make him trip and fall.

Artie was gearing up for a row even though I was telling him to let it be, he was getting angry and I think he thought he had something to prove, and a few people around us were egging them both on, but Cormac came out of nowhere and grabbed his brother by the arm and said that we 'weren't worth it' before leading him off to a different place in the queue.

Anyways. I don't think I'll need that escort from Astronomy this term.
