I am having a lovely weekend so far, and I am especially enjoying the company of my new kitten, Felix. I know it's a name usually associated with males, but I feel especially lucky to have her, so I'm sure she won't mind.
Young kittens usually sleep even more than adult cats -- up to twenty hours a day. They also require multiple feedings per day, as they can't eat a lot at a time. I'm very glad that Felix has other kittens in Gryffindor to play with, and I'm in the process of teaching her how to not be quite so bitey. I've made her a toy she quite likes to fling around and chase, so I'm hoping she'll decide that's more fun to bite than me.
